Our Opinion of Christmas

Yong Qiang(Gavin)'s Opinion

Christmas is so relaxing for me! I love Christmas! During Christmas, i had lots of fun. Mostly, I will go overseas during Christmas. But the part where I had a lot of fun is when I go to church for the Christmas celebration. It is when where lots of people will go to church, even the non-christians. There will be so much talking, so much music, games and lots more of cool stuffs! A lot of people enjoy themselves after the celebration, and me too, I enjoy the celebration so much!!!! It is better than any other service that I attend, though the service is also super fun! So i think chrismas is a time for you to go to church to enjoy yourself, even though you are not a christian. Just go there and have fun! :)

Matthew's Opinion

Christmas, for me its the one time of the year that i have no worries, no cares, not a doubt in the world nothing to bother me. The most peaceful day of the year.
Why do people celebrate Christmas, the season of giving, well Christians believe that on the 25th of december XXBC Jesus was born and God gave his son to die for our sins. On christmas, we give presents to each other as it's the season of giving, and we go to church sing Christmas carols but Christmas is never any fun at all without friends and family all under one roof having fun, playing games, eating the log cake, having dinner with the whole family to me thats wad Christmas is all about.

Benedict's Opinion

How i feel about Christmas. Christmas is a time of giving. It is where we give and receive love from friends and family. How did i spent my Christmas Eve? I went out with my best friends from primary school. We went to Marina Square. Spending time with friends is really. We went to watch ' I Am Legend'. After watching the movie, we went to have dinner. My friends treated me to dinner, but i prefer going Dutch. We went shopping around Marina Square. We heard people singing Christmas carols in the mall. We really were in the Christmas mood. Time flies when you're having fun. It was getting late. 10pm to be exact. I took the MRT home, together with HaoZhe. When i was on the MRT, i could see happy faces in the crowd, as i scanned through briefly. Everyone was going home from their parties. I went home, only to be welcomed by my parents with a cup of hot chocolate.

Christmas was a busy day. I went out with my parents and some relatives. We went to Orchard to shop.

On that day, i realised that Christmas isnt just a day. Its a day where we get together to celebrate and atthe same time, interact with our friends and family. I really enjoyed Christmas. It was fun and unforgettable. :)

Phay Kang's Opinion

I feel that Christmas is a time of celebrating between friends and families, but in actual fact, it is the birth of Jesus to Christians and so they go to church to pray and celebrate. My brother won a Christmas tree almost as tall as me and was going to place it at our home, when he decided to give it away to the salvation army. Christmas is also a time of giving and therefore, I feel proud of him giving the tree to the needy and poor as they have never felt the joy of celebrating Christmas. More importantly, Christmas is a time where you are with your family members, in the warmth of your house or in the brightly lighted shopping malls.
